We are working to reshape affordable housing through innovative cooperative communities in La Porte County. Today, we’re excited to announce a pivotal leadership opportunity that will help drive our vision forward: Assistant Director of Programs, Communications & Development.
Role Overview
The Assistant Director will be instrumental in building the foundation of our cooperative housing communities, particularly our Karwick Village project. This multifaceted role combines program leadership, community building, and strategic development. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to:
- Craft and implement essential co-op documents and resident selection processes
- Guide and support resident committees and co-op board development
- Lead community engagement through programs and volunteer initiatives
- Enhance our organizational visibility through communications and fundraising efforts
- Optimize our operations through technology and workspace management
