As we close the chapter on our “Community Builder” fundraising campaign, we at Homeward Bound Villages find ourselves filled with gratitude and renewed purpose. Our campaign began with a vision: to secure 20 Community Builders who would commit to a monthly donation of $12. This amount was symbolic, representing the 12 affordable housing units we aim to build at Karwick Village. Each $12 donation was meant to signify a key to a new home, a family’s security, and a step towards a more inclusive La Porte County.
